Northern New Castle County, where I was born and raised, faces a historic preservation problem—the demolition by neglect of its 18th- and 19th-century farmstead homes. In 2015, some friends and I founded the nonprofit corporation, Jester Artspace Inc., to restore one of these old stone structures and repurpose it for the arts and community benefit. We have partnered with the County government and the community, raising nearly a million dollars. Work on the farmhouse is currently underway. Below is some of the design and printmaking I’ve done to benefit the organization.
